Lincoln Tech’s Practical Nursing training program preps you for a career in the medical field. Learn through hands-on instruction taught by Certified Nursing Educators (CNEs). You will also be qualified to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN).
Practical Nurses promote, maintain and restore health through their compassionate approach to patient interaction. Our curriculum is taught in simulated medical wet labs and nursing facilities.
Lincoln Tech’s Practical Nursing program also offers:
- Interaction with the public as part of your training through health fairs, blood drives, blood pressure screenings and community health events on campus.
- Hands-on, in-class training to practice everyday responsibilities like taking and reading vital signs, immobilizing injured limbs, and administering medications.
- A Career Services department to help you find your first nursing job after graduation and passing the NCLEX-PN.
