Lincoln Tech’s Heavy Equipment Mechanic Training helps you build professional experience repairing and servicing heavy equipment such as tractors, bulldozers, construction equipment and more. Learn from industry-experienced instructors who show you how to take apart and reassemble engines, transmissions and transaxles found on heavy duty equipment.
The Heavy Equipment Operator Training program is offered as a stand-alone program or an additional program to enhance your skills after graduating from either the Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technology or the Heavy Equipment Service Technology program. Students learn safety procedures and operational techniques. The course is completed with simulator exercises.
The skills needed for repairing and operating heavy equipment has now become extra important with the passage of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Half of the investments are dedicated to major projects, including building roads and bridges. These projects rely on the operation and maintenance of tracked and advanced types of machinery. With more than 170,000 jobs projected for heavy equipment technicians across the United States by 20301, now is an excellent time to pursue a career working with heavy equipment.

Student Testimonial
“This is the right school because you’re not in a large class at a big university. You can actually have a one-to-one with the teachers and get an understanding of what you’re doing.”
